Many Steps Make Mountains

Despite a questionable weather forecast we were dealt another gorgeous day to explore in the Eastern Sierra. Our objective was the iconic rock and set of couloirs framing it, The Incredible Hulk. The Hulk is a well-known and popular destination for summer hiking and challenging rock climbing. In the winter the couloirs running right and left from the behemoth of stone draw skiers up Little Slide Canyon to ski these aesthetic lines of sheltered snow. We found some great chalky powder up in the couloir and some warm sunny corn on the way out. Another great day in the Sierra!
